Prime finish Cambridge was asked to come in part way through this project, we were recommended by word of mouth from another customer. The owner of this property wasn’t happy with the way their current decorators were tackling the project and ultimately the finish they were achieving. It was obvious from the outset that this was a large high spec project that had been meticulously planned and was being let down at the final hurdle. Most of what had been done needed to be rectified with lots of further prep and several more coats of paint. A combination of not enough preparation, using the wrong roller nap and poor painting technique left at first glance an ok finish but it in certain lights and on closer inspection a sub standard finish.
We worked with the customer to find various solutions to issues with the painting that had been carried out already, some of it just down to correctly prepping and using the correct tools for the surface but also to give advice on better quality materials.
All ceilings and walls are finished in Farrow & Ball Estate & Modern emulsion with the woodwork finished in Benjamin Moore Scuff X Satin in their closest match to F&B Wevet.
